The HES (UK) annual conference CFP is now live! This year’s theme is ‘Timeless Memories’. The conference will be hosted by the University of Birmingham on 6- 8 November 2020. Check out the conference website.
Owing to the current Covid-19 situation, HES (UK) and the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain have made the decision to postpone the ‘Relationships and Sex Education: Philosophical and Historical Perspectives’ conference that was scheduled for June this year. It will be rescheduled in 2021.
HES is seeking short pieces of 500-800 words for our blog. Check out the full details here!

Since 5th March, a digital exhibition of book inscriptions by Dr Lauren Alex O’Hagan has been on Instagram. The exhibition rethinks working-class life in Edwardian Britain and has tonnes of content of interest to the historian of education!
