Call for Papers: 5th Military Welfare History Network Conference, 18-20 June 2026
In June 2026 the MWHN will host its fifth international conference at Babeș-Bolyai University in the city of Cluj-Napoca in Romania. The 2026 theme is ‘Civil Society, Civic Engagement and Its Impact on Military Welfare’. Interested people and groups are invited to submit individual paper and group panel abstracts by the deadline of 28 February 2026. Call for Statements of Interest to the Journal for Military, Veteran and Family Health
Building on the success of the SSHM-Wellcome Trust-funded ‘The Military Communities’ Medical Welfare and Care History Conference Series’, the Military Welfare History Network has been invited to contribute a special issue to the Journal of Military, Veteran and Family Health.
