Paedagogica Historica Special Issue – ISCHE 46 “Teachers and Teaching – History on the Move”

The ISCHE 46 conference convenors invite conference presenters to submit their papers to be considered for publication in a special issue of Paedagogica Historica that will address the conference theme. Submissions in the journal’s three official languages (English, French, German) should be received by January 15, 2026 and adhere to the journal’s manuscript style. The ISCHE First Book Award recognizes a single-authored academic monograph by a historian of education that represents innovative and exemplary scholarship in the field of history of education broadly conceived. As an award given for a first book, ISCHE also seeks to recognize a historian of education of extraordinary capability and promise.

Nominations are now open for the 2026 ISCHE First Book Award 2026! Self-nominations are welcome.
