The 15th History of Education Summer School (HEDSS) is now open for applications.
Taking place at the University of Oslo, Norway on the 5th to 7th of June 2025, postgraduate students that engage with history of education can participate and apply for the Summer School. This is a great opportunity to network with fellow postgraduate students, get support from leading historians and history of education academics, as well as taking part in seminars and lectures to help develop your knowledge of research within this field.
The History of Education Society is one of several organisations directly supporting this opportunity.

A maximum of 25 participants are eligible to attend, of which the Summer School will be in the English language and requires no registration fee to be paid. Accommodation and food provisions will also be provided throughout, however travel is not included and must be covered by the student upon successful application. There are some bursaries available for interested individuals from a low-GDP country.
The deadline for applications is the 31st of December 2024.
