Dr Jenny Crowdy is a Technology Enhanced Learning Developer at the University of Winchester and independent researcher. Her PhD thesis, which she was awarded on Friday 8th of January 2026, concerns reconceptualising creativity for the digital age using the philosophy of ‘encounter’. Jenny has worked in the education sector since 2011, with experience in all educational phases of life. Alongside her studies, Jenny has a wide range of responsibilities. She currently works two part-time roles at the University of Winchester, as both a TEL Developer and PA to Leadership. She is the Lead Convenor for CIRCLE AI, a new research cluster at the University of Winchester, and SIG Convenor for BERA on Digital Education. Outside of these roles, Jenny supports us at the current Peter Gosden Fellow and manages the society’s social media and website blog. Her term will end on 31st of January 2026, in which she will transition to being a Postgraduate Representative.
