The Anne Bloomfield Prize

Prize for the best book written in English on the history of education.

  • Nominations for books published between January 1 2020 and December 31 2022 should be sent to Tom Woodin ([email protected]) with a short 150-200 word supporting rationale.
  • Co-authored but not co-edited books may be submitted.
  • Those shortlisted should ask their publisher to provide 4 copies of their book to the panel.
  • Deadline for submissions: midnight on March 24th 2023.
  • Shortlisting will take place in March/April and the winners will be announced at the Society annual conference in Sheffield in November 2023.

The Kevin Brehony Prize

Prize for the best first single-authored book written in English on the history of education.
